Emily is an award winning actor and writer passionate about bringing stories to life. She's the 6x Earphones Award winning, 3x Audie nominated narrator of more than 600 audiobooks for Macmillan, Harper Collins, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Hachette, and many others. Emily received her BFA in drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She also had the privilege of living in London while studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Her greatest strength as a performer is her ability to bring herself to the role, creating a wide range of emotionally resonant performances that leap off the page, stage, or screen. With a special love for villains and anti-heroes, her favorite characters are complicated, conflicted, and still searching for their inner truths.

Emily brings her deep understanding of character and relationships to her writing. She's collaborated with American Idol creator Simon Fuller on several projects, including teen musical feature film The Musical (2023) starring members of international music sensation Now United. She was also a writer on the TV Movie A Moving Romance. Her spec pilot Only The Dead is a quarter-finalist in Final Draft's 2025 Big Break Screenwriting Competition and a Second Rounder in the 2025 Austin Film Festival. Her teen feature adaptation Mac/Beth is also a Second Rounder in the 2025 Austin Film Festival. Being Val (2022), which she wrote, produced, and starred in, won a Remi Award for Best SciFi Short from Worldfest Houston International Film Festival. She's also the published co-author of three books about key figures in early 20th century American history, which she wrote after more than a decade of volunteering at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum in New York.
